Not gay as in happy; queer as in hopepunk!

Join artist and workshop leader Linden K. McMahon for a creative, time-travelling workshop inspired by Rob Hopkins’ book How to Fall in Love with the Future.

We will visit a future where things are better, and bring back news and ideas! If we can’t imagine a better world, we can’t create one, and this workshop will help us flex our imaginations and dream towards action through storytelling, map-making, junk-modelling, and drawing.

If you’d like to make a day of it, why not go to the creative writing workshop in the morning and bring your ideas to add to the map of future Porty!

“The world may seem broken, but it is in the healing, in the rebuilding, where hope is found. And we must keep building, together.” – Toni Morrison.

About The Host

Your workshop leader is Linden K. McMahon, a participatory arts and nature connection facilitator whose work with adults and children focuses on community building, nature connection and ecological healing, increasing access to creativity, and justice and belonging.
