Porty Live is your radio station – a community heartbeat. We’re based in Portobello with our studio space in the former Police Station (now called Action Station, and run by Action Porty) and we’re building a platform to amplify local voices, share stories, and connect the community.

We’ve launched our test stream, which you can listen to using the links above – and we’re keen to hear from passionate people who share our vision of community-driven media. Whether you’re a seasoned broadcaster, a tech enthusiast, a local storyteller, or simply someone who believes in the power of hyperlocal communication, we want to hear from you (and so do our future listeners!).

Our dream is to create a radio station that is truly by and for the community – a collaborative space where Porty’s diverse voices can be heard & celebrated. If you’re excited about the potential of Porty Live and want to be part of something transformative, please get in touch.

We’re looking for volunteers with skills in broadcasting, sound engineering, content creation, community outreach, and (especially) fundraising!
