Our Summer Book Club is back and better than ever! We’re so happy to be launching our annual reading challenge in style.

Join us at 4pm on Tuesday 23rd June at the bookshop to celebrate the start of the challenge with some snacks! You’ll be the first to collect your challenge booklet plus some fun book related merch. We’ll also be joined by fantastic authors Alastair Chisholm, Nadine Aisha Jassat, Edward Ross and Sibéal Pounder who’ll be helping us launch the challenge.

The Porty Books Summer Book Club is here once more to encourage kids to read for pleasure during their summer holidays. This time we’ve added a brand new challenge intended for teens with different prompts and prizes. Participate by collecting a booklet from the bookshop and completing the bingo board featuring nine different reading prompts. Bring your booklet into the bookshop to get stamps and collect your prizes!

The Summer Book Clubs begin on Tuesday 23rd June and end on Sunday 9th August.
