Scottish Cube Cup
The Scottish Cube Cup is a one-day Magic: The Gathering cube tournament at Portobello Town Hall, raising money for Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity.
64 players, 8 pods of 8, and 3 drafts across the day, each from a different cube lent by collectors from across Scotland and beyond. Every draft is 3 Swiss rounds, best of 3. You don’t need to bring any cards: everything you play with is drafted on the day.
There are prizes throughout, with a pack for every match win, medals for pod winners and a trophy for the overall champion. There will also be a raffle for a sealed booster box, with all proceeds going to the charity.
Doors open at 9am and the first draft starts at 9.30, so be there on time.
Entry is £40, and all profits go to Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity (Scottish charity SC020862). Places are limited to 64. Register at scottishcubecup.co.uk.
