We invite all members of the Portobello Community to join us to be part of the very first Festival Photo which will celebrate the Opening of the Festival.
Members of the public are invited to wear Blue or Orange to join us on the pavement at the Main entrance steps of the Portobello Town Hall where local photographer Jon Davies will take an arial photo from the balcony of the Portobello Town Hall.

Jon Davey Photography I have lived in Portobello for ten years now and over that time have found myself photographing many local events. From joining the TEDx team at Tribe Porty soon after we arrived I have taken pictures at Beach Busks, Art Walks, Porty Pride, Community Wassails and been involved in documenting the campaigns to bring both Bellfield and Portobello Town Hall into community management. I was a trustee with the charity Portobello Central when it reopened the Town Hall and am still on the committee that runs the Art Walk. I love living in Portobello as there always seems to be something interesting going on to photograph! As a professional photographer I mostly cover events, like conferences and parties with a few headshots every so often. I’ll often take pictures in Portobello for community organisations for reduced fees. Happy to support the Porty Festival!
