It may or it may not be one of the 50 year anniversaries but Auld Cruivie is coming to Portobello Town Hall to set up his one night Bazaar and to get groovy.

In association with the Manifesto of Bliss, “Auld Cruivies Bazaar” is the inaugural event during which there will be Music, Folklore and Dancing.A veritable marketplace for underground and DIY musicians, storytellers and others to come together with the sole purpose of getting the unheard, heard.

Join us for 4 hours of electronics, dub, folk, underground sounds and storytelling with the manifesto of Bliss DJ’s and a stellar cast of local artists.  This is an unlicensed event so BYOB.

Manifesto of Bliss bring their hugely popular counter-cultural live show to Portobello for one night only!

A small number of tickets have been made available for this special evening of live music, cult DJ’s and storytelling in this unique and historic location.

Those of you fortunate enough to secure entry will be treated to a rare appearance by James Yorkston operating under his J. Wright Presents alias.

Ian Humberstone will be there to delight revellers with his compelling take on experimental Folk music.

Erin Farley and Stephen Clarke 1980 are on a mission to send JACK to Chicago via their special mix of storytelling and funky dance tunes.

Manifesto of Bliss DJ’s will be on hand to keep the underground vibe alive throughout the night.

If we are very lucky, Auld Cruivie – the king of the woods – will join us for a dance, leaving his huge store of jewels unattended.
