Immerse yourself in the enchanting world of Scottish folklore as we bring to life the stories shaped by the sea.

From the haunting selkies to powerful sea gods, Scotland’s coastal traditions are steeped in tales of mystery, resilience, and deep connection to the ocean.

Join us for an afternoon of storytelling as we share captivating myths and legends passed down through generations. Explore how the sea has shaped Scottish culture, history, and identity, while uncovering the deeper meanings behind these timeless tales.

Following the storytelling, participants will have the chance to explore their personal connection to the ocean through a creative activity.

You will also receive a copy of the SeaVoice Annual, a curated selection of stories from 2023 and 2024 that showcases humanity’s profound connection with blue spaces. Cradled in an ethically sourced seaweed cover, and featuring 20 compelling articles alongside awe-inspiring photography, this publication is a true celebration of our marine heritage.

This event is a celebration of storytelling and ocean identity, inviting you to listen, reflect, and connect with Scotland’s marine heritage. Perfect for folklore enthusiasts, ocean lovers, and anyone seeking to connect with the magic of the sea. Proceeds will cover venue costs, with all remaining funds donated to charity.
