Fun beginners braiding workshop for kids.
A beginners workshop into braiding, an introduction into Japanese craft of Kumihimo to create braided bracelets and other accessories. During the workshop the kids will make their own simple Kumihimo braiding disk and learn how to make multicoloured braided cord, which they can use for making a bracelet or a keyring.
All materials and tools will be provided. We will be using scissors, cotton yarn and recycled cardboard.
Besides the accessory they create during the workshop everyone can take home the tool they make and some instructions for future makes.
