DESCRIPTION:For this event\, a collaboration between Scottish and Welsh lit
 erary magazines\, Gutter and Folding Rock\, we are delighted to welcome th
 ree outstanding authors from Wales to the bookshop.\n\nRhian Elizabeth\, B
 rigid Lowe\, and Anthony Shapland will be reading from recent work\, discu
 ssing the current state of Welsh writing\, and considering kinship with th
 e literary scene here in Scotland.\n\nThe event will be introduced by Kath
 ryn Tann\, Non-Fiction and Managing Editor of Folding Rock. Kathryn Tann i
 s a writer\, editor and creative producer from the south coast of Wales. H
 er debut essay collection\, Seaglass\, was published by Calon Books in 202
 4. She is the creator of ’This Place’ podcast\, and writes a monthly S
 ubstack called ‘Dwell’.\n\nJoin us in the shop or online to hear from 
 these wonderful authors\, check out Gutter and Folding Rock\, and chat to 
 people from both literary magazines!\n\nRhian Elizabeth is a novelist\, po
 et\, and trainee counsellor. She is the author of three poetry collections
 \, and in 2025 she won both the Wales Book of the Year Award and the Natio
 n.Cymru People’s Choice Award for girls etc.\, published by Broken Sleep
  Books.
