 Join us in welcoming Freya Bromley back to the bookshop to celebrate her d
 ebut novel A Real Piece of Work with an Edinburgh launch during Independen
 t Bookshop Week this June. We've had the pleasure of working with Freya on
  a couple of beach swim events for her memoir The Tidal Year over the year
 s\, so it's going to be a special evening!\n\nBromley will be in conversat
 ion with fellow author Niamh Ní Mhaoileoin\, whose debut novel Ordinary S
 aints was published in paperback this February.\n\nA Real Piece of Work is
  a sparkling and spiky story of complicated families and even more complic
 ated sisters\, exploring who owns grief and who gets to tell the story of 
 those who are gone and those left behind with tenderness\, nuance and wit.
 \n\nThis event will take place in the bookshop with an in-person audience\
 , as well as a livestream for attendees watching from home. There will be 
 a signing after the event.
